Thursday 17^th April on TVM  at 515pm , Sunday, 20th  April on E22 at 10am (RPT)   and Monday, 21st April on E22 at 2.30pm (RPT) will feature the following:

Featured Event – Gymnastics National Championship

The Malta Gymnastics Federation organized the 2008 National Gymnastics Competition  at the GymStars Gymnastics Club, Church Street, Tarxien. The National Gymnastics Competition involved top gymnasts from all over the Maltese islands. Selection of the Maltese national gymnastics team, which will represent Malta in next year’s Small Nation Games in Cyprus, will heavily depend on the results of this competition.

Highlighted Event – Athletics Meeting / Bike Ride

The Malta Amateur Athletic Association held Track and Field events. During the afternoon a number of disciplines were practiced namely  Men,Intermediates/Junior/Senior 100 – 200 – 400 – 800 – 1500 – 5000 metres – 100m h – 110m hurdles. Javelin, discus, Shot, Long Jump, High Jump and Triple Jump

On 13^th April in the morning at Sliema ferries a 1hour bike ride promoting cycling was held by the cycling federation. As on previous occasions the participation in this event was encouraging for the forthcoming events to be organized by this association.
