Choose Malta “from Malta to Athens”
Programme 2004
The Malta Olympic Committee was established in 1928.
It is the supreme and exclusive authority on matters
relating to representation of Malta at the Olympic Games,
the Commonwealth Games, the Mediterranean Games, the
Games of the Small States of Europe and other International
Games, which fall under the jurisdiction of the MOC.
Our main commitment is that of encouraging, promoting
and funding Maltese athletes participation at these
Games and through support programmes to improve their
level of competitiveness.
We are also committed to enhancing Malta’s sporting
facilities for Maltese athletes and guests alike. In
fact the MOC is more than aware of the needs of squad
training especially in preparation for the next Olympic
Games “Athens 2004”. With the cooperation
of the Maltese government, Malta’s national airline
‘Air Malta’ and Tourism Authority the MOC
can help support your plans and offer first rate facilities
in the best environment to produce the best results.

for their endeavours at the next edition of the Olympic
Games in Athens 2004.
